In this role she will support the Board of the Cash Chapter in its adequate functioning of the Board of Directors. Tanja Kulisch-Ziemens, a German national, comes to the Ligue from the German National Resolution Authority BaFin (formerly FMSA), Frankfurt, where she worked for 10 years in various roles, contributing to the set-up of the newly created resolution authority from 2014 onwards, including developing standards and policies, establishing crisis management procedures as well as international cooperation with fellow authorities, industry players and associations. In her most recent capacity, she held the position of Head of Division of Resolution Planning for Private Banks – covering the German global systemically important bank (G-SIB) and other significant, global third country institutions. Prior to that, she was working for more than 10 years as an advisor, et al. with PwC and Deloitte where she advised banks on regulatory and restructuring matters, and 7 years as a banker. Tanja holds a diploma in economics from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and an MBA in Digital Transformation from Goethe Business School, Frankfurt.

José Antonio Lasanta, Chair of the Cash Chapter said: “I am delighted to welcome Tanja Kulisch-Ziemens to the Ligue. Tanja brings with her a wealth of experience and will with no doubt help us navigate through the current challenges and build our strategic position in the market. I am confident that the Ligue Cash Chapter will benefit from her expertise as a prior regulator, advisor, and banker.”
